‘22’ é uma coletânea de histórias que viraram canções. Durante o ano de 2022, Narciso deslocou-se por Lisboa, Londres e Amsterdão, ao sabor do improviso, enquanto foi arrumando ideias, traduzindo emoções em versos e instrumentais. A guitarra é o core, a voz principal, o drive melódico omnipresente no decorrer do álbum, também o instrumento com o qual se sente mais à vontade – foi ao que se dedicou no Hot Clube e no Conservatório de Amesterdão durante os últimos anos da sua vida. A voz cantada traz uma função complementar de narrativa, esclarecendo tudo o que ouvimos e acrescentando novas camadas. Além da mensagem, o restante espaço entrega-o a sintetizadores, saxofones, gravações artesanais e à guitarra (lá está!) transformando tudo numa pop que nos fala de forma simples, sem pretensões. ‘22’ é a tal viagem na qual nos sentimos à vontade suficiente com o amigo do lado para falar sobre tudo, para nos mostrarmos imperfeitos e, também, para momentos de silêncio. Como nas amizades, não devemos esperá-las excepcionais mas sim orgulhosas da honestidade com que as mantemos. Assim como este disco, que diz tudo sobre o lado humano de um músico que onde melhor se encontra é a organizar-se a si mesmo nas canções.
